About Me

Jeff Wunrow

I was first introduced to kayaking in 2004 while living in Southern California. A friend invited me to go sea kayaking at Channel Islands National Park, which is 30 miles off the southern California coast. After that experience, I was hooked. Moving to Minneapolis in 2006 really opened his eyes to all that kayaking could be. The lakes and rivers in Minnesota were the perfect training ground to expand my kayaking knowledge. After 14 years in the frozen north my wife Christina and I made our final relocation to the Nashville TN area. Living on the banks of the Cumberland river provides me with daily opportunities for kayaking.

My wife Christina and I married in September 1982 and are blessed with three children, Nikolas, Alexander and Cathryn. Our kids are now grown adults, each living amazing and fulfilling lives. I retired from a 37 year career in printing and now dedicate my time to helping build my wife's YouTube Channel, Thyme Saver Kitchen, kayaking and planning my next big adventure.
